Our Lady travels Chile, and a Vancouverite reports

From Chris Radziminski, former director of Service and Justice for the Archdiocese of Vancouver, currently in Chile:
Here's evangelization in Chile for you ... they're onto something here.

The image of the Virgen del Carmen (Our Lady of Mount Carmel) was blessed in Rome by Pope Benedict, and is on a 9-month tour to each diocese, visiting prisons, hospitals, schools, etc.

I happened to be in Arica, Chile, yesterday when the Virgen del Carmen arrived by fishing boat with a Naval escort.  Here are some pictures.

Today I saw the Virgen del Carmen in a Popemobile type vehicle, racing down the other side of the road with a full police escort.

Cheers & all the best,
Chris
